Is it not a life-threatening situation, but as a tourist on Texel you do need urgent GP care? Then call the tourist number: 0222 338 900 from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Our GPs will be happy to help you or refer you to the right practice on the island.

Is it not a life-threatening situation? On weekdays between 5pm and 8am, during public holidays and at weekends, you can visit the GP Emergency Department in case of emergency.
The GP emergency room is only for care that cannot wait until the next working day.
Need medication during your holiday? Then ask your own GP for an (international) prescription. Your GP can then send the prescription to the Texel pharmacy. The Texel Dispensary is located at Weverstraat 95 in Den Burg. Is requesting your prescription via your own GP unsuccessful? Via this button you can request your prescription from one of the Texel General Practices. Once you have filled in the form, you will receive a telephone number to call to finalise the request.
